Authentic tapas

From a young age our jefe Michiel has spent a lot of time in Spain where he fell in love with the concept and taste of Spanish tapas. Since then, he's been dedicated to bring authentic Spanish food and bites to his hometown Maastricht. Sharing delicious food among family and friends just like in Spain is what he envisions Que Pasa to be.

Our extensive menu, offers you traditional and authentic tapas from all over Spain: Have a look and discover dishes for every diet from provinces like Andalusia, Galicia, Basque Country and Catalonia. We serve a variety of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose free dishes to accommodate every guest.

Come visit us and experience our authentic Spanish atmosphere in the heart of Maastricht. Come early to get the most out of our sunny terrace or make a dinner reservation to discover the most authentic tapas restaurant in Maastricht.

Central location

After years of struggling with different parties, we finally got our terrace license a couple years ago! This is amazing news for all our guests, since you can now enjoy the sun with your tapas, a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz.

While the terrace has definitely become a highlight at our tapas restaurant, don't miss out on the indoors. We're always trying to make the atmosphere as cozy and at the same time as authentically Spanish as possible.

You can find us at Tongersestraat 3, just a couple steps from the Ezelmarkt and the Student Service Center.

Looking for a location for your reception after your thesis defense, for a dinner or an event with up to 80 people? We've got you covered! Contact us now to discuss more details.

Our team

While hospitality and service are our first priority, being the most authentic Spanish Tapasbar in Maastricht also means that you should be able to serve your guests in Spanish. That's why everyone at Que Pasa speaks Spanish. But it doesn't stop there...

Maastricht is extremely international and so next to Spanish, everyone on the team, also speaks at least one other language. The other languages we cover are Dutch, English, German, French, Catalan, Polish and Italian. Ask our waiters and waitresses what languages they speak when you make your order.
